Guest guest
YES YES YES, it could be cracked, broken or subluxed, or dislocated and this HURTS and makes breathing difficult. I have had this happen many times and the ER here is useless they tell me it is costochronditis which is inflammation in the cartliage between the ribs and give me NSAID's and send me home. When in fact they are out and my Osteopath has to relocate them for me so that the pain goes away and I can breath again properly. If is is that painful then get her looked at as she could have broken or cracked a rib. I posted just a minute ago about rib problems I have had and how I have found having them bound helps to make breathing easier and also how I am usually put on cough suppresents as I injure myself to much with bad coughing. Sorry I can't help further but get her checked out if it is this sore. And get her a rib belt and see if this helps (depending on which ribs they are some rib belts are a bit awkward like if they are high (mine is usually 3 and 4) so we designed a rib belt to deal with this, if you want the design I can give it to you it is VERY easy to make and all you need it to sew a few stitches (or get someone to do this for you) after you buy the necessary stuff.
