Guest guest
, I can't believe that they ignored you like this and hurt you like this. I would have ripped the damb cuff of my arm and said " I told you this was REALLY hurting " and as to just removing your braces that is NOT allowed, I mean does she also remove peoples ventolators without asking. I mean you are wearing these braces for a reason and you explained this to this SO CALLED Nurse, she should of first asked you about what the brace was for and then asked if it was OK if she remove one to take you pulse, then SHE should have replaced the brace and helped you to roll your sleeves down and re button them. I mean arthritis people have trouble with this too and I am sure if you said it was arthritis (something she has/had heard of she would have been more careful and more helpful) but becasue it was EDS and she didn;t know what it is she didn't care (This is what is SEEMS like to me). I would make a complaint and if this happened to me I think I would have gotten really angry and probably walked out. If I was you I would REFUSE to have this nurse touch me EVER again. I hope your doctor sure has a talk to this nurse about the trauma and pain she caused you. I would also write a letter to the clinic and to HER about this when you are able.
