Dear Barbara,

The conference sounds good this year, but I don't know

if I will be able to make it. I became a Grandmother

for the first time this March 9th. Dakodah was born

at 3:18pm weighing in at 8lbs. 12oz. and 21 1/2 "

long. He's already i month old and I am enjoying

every part of being a Grandma. I will try to put his

photo on our board when I get my husband, Tom, to help

me with the details. I am planning a trip to Cape Cod

from the 10th of July to the 20th, I will be my

daughter and her husband and Dakodah. Noone back east

has seen him yet,

so we felt it would be nice to take him to them. Both

my parents are unable to fly anymore, because of

health problems. Time for intros(in my case I'll

call it an update) Since there has been no Northern

California group, I have found managing my illness

much harder. We moved into a new one story house in

Pleasanton in September of 2003. Right after that we

took a 10 day trip to Maui.... Both of our daughters

were already out on their own so this house was just

for us. Haa haa. My health has not been very good.

for some reason my scoliosis went from 30degrees in

1999 to 50 degrees march of 2004 with a kyphosis of 78

degrees. They have put me in a brace for now, but I

am looking at surgery again down the road. My dear

husband, Tom is the greatest. I stopped smoking and

he supported me. He helps me out in everyway he can.

I am getting very tired and have to stop. I will try

to write again. Are we having another secret sender
