--- Alison,

Maxi has an appt. (4 year old chk-up) with his primary care physician

on January 15. and I both plan on being there to facilitate

finding an RSS endo who is in our plan, and who will address his blood

sugar and feeding issues. We are on the same plan, Carefirst,

although, I am told it is easier if you have the PPO and we have the

HMO. All of the Docs who work through the clinics at Inova Fairfax

Children's Hospital are supposed to be in network. If all else fails,

I plan on sitting down with the provider book and will call each and

every one of them starting with Virginia, of course. I figure, if I

can't find one, maybe I can find one that we can educate, yes? I will

keep you updated. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

AmyMarie

Mom to Maxi (RSS?) 47 months, 35 1/2in., and back down to 25 pds.

AmyMarie,

We are on the HMO plan too. Yuck! We are not thrilled about this

insurannce change. I plan to begin investigating too.......between

the two of us hopefully we will find a good endo that both of our

sons can use. Do you have a pediatrician that you use under the HMO

plan that you like?

I hope you and your family have a nice holiday. Let's try and get

together in January.
