Hi all

Just wanted to share a story----- nothing to do with EDS but sad . I found out

yesterday that a classmate of my late son took his life, he was only 14. I went

to my son's school (a very difficult thing to do) and talked to the principal to

offer any help to the family that I could. He was in Danny's class last year so

this is the second year that the classmates have to deal with the death of a

friend. It is soon coming up to the one year anniversary of Danny's death (May

30 2003) so it is brought to the forefront again. I sure wish kids didn't have

to go through this, its hard at any age but early teens is really tough. I have

to say that it has been pretty tough for me too I saw the picture of Danny that

now resides on a wall in the school library for all to see and reads " In memory

of our friend Danny Cammack " Very touching. I just wanted to share this and

wonder if any have experienced a suicide and how kids dealt with it.
