As those of you who have been on the list longer than the last

couple of months know, I am working with the editor of the " Pulse, "

which is the newsletter for the American Organization for Bodywork

Therapies of Asia, for an article in the May issue. Specifically,

it is about EDS and my experiences working with it using some of the

Eastern and energetic modalities.

Barb and I jointly sent her quite a bit of background information

and links on EDS in general last December and I provided additional

material concerning my hands-on experiences and results.

I just got an email update from her this morning, which I am copying

below:

" Hi Mike,

Thanks for the additional info. I haven't read it yet, am starting

work on the article now. Please do send a few testimonials. They

would be good to include. I'll be getting back to you when I have

something together. "

If possible, I would appreciate some brief testamonials from some of

you on the list with first-hand experiences, either from my working

directly on/with you or from your taking some of the posted

suggestions and trying them yourselves. What conditions have you

used them for (headaches, pain management, etc); what techniques

have you tried (acupressure, polarity X, etc); what results did you

get?

Again, AOBTA is THE national organization for Eastern modalities.

This is a tremendous opportunity for us to get the word out to a

major group of bodyworkers about EDS. It can also help open the

door for information on other modalities that might prove beneficial

in treating some of the symptoms of EDS.

You can either send to me via open post or off-list email and I will

forward to her. Thanks.
