Guest guest
Are you talking about shoes or Markel (both have a strap). Maybe if you found a shoe repair shop or saddle shop they could install a stronger piece of leather, or even sew in a nylon-strap instead? s. Help with straps oh shoes I seem to be going though shoes ever two months and it is all because of the buckle strap it always to be riping if anyone has any ideas on how to prevent this I would really like all the help I can get. Guest guest
, I'm not sure from your description if your strap is breaking or if your buckle is coming off. I've heard of the strap breaking, but never heard of issues with the buckle. Have you tried contacting Markell Shoe Company directly? (assuming you have the Tarso shoes) Jay Markell is very helpful- and likes feedback from parents to help improve the product. If it's a strap issue, perhaps applying saddlesoap would help keep the strap flexible and keep it from snapping (I'm guessing- no personal experience here)? Are you adjusting the holes that you use as the leather stretches? Hopefully some other parents will have input..... Good luck- & (3-16-00) > I seem to be going though shoes ever two months and it is all because > of the buckle strap it always to be riping if anyone has any ideas on > how to prevent this I would really like all the help I can get. > >
