Hi,

To the newly diagnosed or maybe not yet diagnosed...when I was not

yet diagnosed I was shaking so bad I started telling people to call

me Katharine Hepburn. :/ I couldn't even write, I had trouble

walking; I even started using a cane, because I also had very bad

weakness in my legs. Now that I'm hypo, my hair is falling out, very

brittle, and what isn't falling out is turning white. I'm also

retaining more water than the Hoover Dam, in addition to gaining

weight. =:-0

Also, next Friday the 20th I'm having my 3rd surgery of the year. I

guess it would be smart to postpone it until my levels are better,

but because of my medical leave from work, I pretty much have to go

ahead and have the surgery. My TSH was 15 when it was last checked

(about 3 weeks ago) so it HAS to be less than that. Any suggestions

for this recovery time after surgery? I will be mainly taking pain

pills and sleeping for about 5 days before I even feel like eating,

if it is anything like the same-type surgery I last had on July 7th.

And, even though I don't write as much as some people, and you know

who you are :D I do appreciate this group.

Thanks,

in Dallas
