What is AVN??

Bursitis with AVN

I was diagnosed with AVN after an MRI to check for bursitis. At that

point, the bursitis was pretty much ignored, but I think I do have

bursitis as well as AVN based on the symptoms- the AVN pain is in the

groin/hip socket area (really not that bad) and the bursitis is

bugging me on the outside of my thigh/buttock area (pain worse at night)

I know the usual course for bursitis is a steroid injection (probably

not a good idea with the AVN)

Anyone else had to deal with this? I will probably be getting

resurfaced in the next year- can/do they fix the bursitus surgically

at the same time?
