It is hard to tell if it is yeast. Maybe part of it, but I do not

think the vomiting and low appetite come from there...

Maybe he has reflux? Does he complain about pain in his stomach and

up? My son developped reflux a few months ago (never had one before)

and it took me a little while to figure it out. He also occasionally

vomitted during or right after meals.

Could he be constipated? When my son is constipated he has a low

appetite, and his BM do not look at all like somebody constipated!

First rounds with ALA are difficult. Maybe you could up his

supplements and see if he feels better. How much DMSA and ALA did you

give him?

Hope this helps,

When my daughter started to feel nauseous after chelation, lost her appetite and

vomitted occasionally, it coinsided with some raised liver values and lowered

neutrophils. I don't think she is coping well with DMSA (although it seemed as

if she had no problems with it for the first 6 months). I am at present

wondering, whether giving her molybdenum might help. I might try this during the

X-mas holidays.

We have just completed second round of DMSA + ALA with my son (4

yrs). Over the past 3-4 days his small and picky appetite has

reduced to almost nothing - a small amount of food at lunchtime only,

and today not even that. He has vomited a couple of times when

eating or soon after, sometimes accompanied by a lot of vigorous

coughing beforehand. His breath also smells bad. I cannot say much

about BMs as I have not seen one for a few days because he is not

eating. He does not appear to have excessive intestinal gas. He is

also demonstrating a lot more behaviours than usual and some new ones

not seen before.

Does this sound like yeast ?

I am confused because he does have a weak immune system and every

year gets coughs which result in him not eating, being sick from

coughing, and generally being groggy and irritable from exhaustion

and lack of energy. I can almost explain all the symptoms by

reference to things he has had before, but am womdering if

collectively these could add up to YEAST !

All ideas welcome please !

Thanks for your ideas.

He has not had reflux before, as far as I know, but he does cough

hard util he vomits sometimes, especialy when he has a cough

infection.

> Could he be constipated?

I don't think so at the moment, though he does sometimes suffer.

I gave 11mg ALA and 12.5mg DMSA, 3 hourly in day and 4 hourly at

night, using Vit C + milk thistle with each dose, and Brainchild

supplements 3x daily. First four rounds DMSA only went no problems.

First round DMSA+ALA was OK, and on second round he seems to be

suffering from someting. But as he has a cough infection now I am

finding it hard to figure out the causes and what I should do. This

morning I started GSE to see if it helps in 2-3 days.

To me, it definitely sounds suspiciously like yeast.
