I'm celebrating a loss today!!

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to share that I lost 4 lbs. last week!

(I know...it's beyond the healthy 2 pounds max loss per week) However, I

lost nothing in May and gained 3 lbs the first week of June while I was

on vacation. So this 4 lb. loss was really amazing to me (but my norm is

about 1.2 lbs a week if I'm really on program)

So how did I do it? Water, water, water, journal, journal, journal, and

increased my activity slightly. I even ate 28 of my flex points and

still lost weight!

I made healthier choices last week and I think the key thing is that I

really WORKED the program.

Now, I'm preparing mentally that next week won't be like this (and I may

even gain a bit back in the next couple weeks - because that's the way

my body seems to do things)

but I'm SO excited to be back at it - taking it seriously - and I have

this group to thank!!

I'm so glad you are here, and even though we don't know eachother in

" real " life, never underestimate the influence you can have on other

people. I've felt so supported here. And I really need that. My friend

who started WW with me is still attending, but I'm going to my own

meetings now (escaping the competitive feelings I used to feel when I

was around her) and I had to make the decision, " I'm doing this with or

without my friend! "

So anyway...it just really feels good to be back on track.

Congratulations! ...what a wonderful loss. I was happy with my 1/2 pound

loss. I'd simply be out of this world greatful with a 4 pound loss. The secret

seems to be just as you said...water,water, and more water, and journalling

constantly, and lots of increased activity. WTG ! Pat
