Guest guest
Did a round 5 of ALA - Now he seems to have a sinus infection (could be a cold but more like a sinus issue) Anybody else kids have this after ALA rounds? If it is a sinus infection do I have to give antibiotics for it? Two more questions: What kind of cookware should I use? Does perscription yeast med's kill good gut flora whille killing the bad? Can I give probiotics w/perscription anti-viral? I keep hearing multi - things on Folic Acid... How much Folic Acid should I give daily? (34 pounds)How much would be too much? Sorry if these questions have been asked before Thanks, Marisha Lake 3 1/

For my family, sinus infections are yeast. > Does perscription yeast med's kill good gut flora whille killing the > bad? In general, rx medications target certain strains of yeast but not all straings. You usually need to match the rx medication with the type/s of yeast you have. > Can I give probiotics w/perscription anti-viral? Yes. > I keep hearing multi - things on Folic Acid... How much Folic Acid > should I give daily? (34 pounds)How much would be too much? Depends on what other interventions you are doing. For example, many kids require extra folic acid if they are using high doses of B12. Some kids need extra folic acid " just because " . Guest guest
My child also gets stuffy on ALA rounds. I had never treated for yeast before we started using ALA and since I did start I think his stuffy noses have been less likely to turn into sinus infections. Maybe it has been yeast all this time. If we do get sinus infections I try to hold off as long as I can on antibiotics and lots of times they resolve themselves with other treatments. Guest guest
So does my son. This has been a chronic problem, but GSE does seem to help. Re: [ ] Re: Andy?.....
