Yeah, I think that's what is driving me nuts in relation to the last four weeks. It's been really up and down, where usually I stay within a pound or two of my " happy weight " . Ah well. This week I wasn't that surprised...not because I was off program or anything, but because I knew I've been having fluctuations. I guess I also know that as I am pushing 40, there is probably going to be a point where I might see a small gain as my metabolism settles a little bit. I hope that doesn't happen for awhile! Heck I went out and ran 7.5 miles today so I know I'm certainly earning those APs! >You are no doubt getting more muscle weight, since you are incresing >your workouts. So that is a good thing, you know what they say about >muscle. Yeah, it looks HOT! I sure wish I could see my ab muscles. I know I have a six pack in there somewhere... >So don't you worry one little bit..your doing wonderful..I have read >just how much running etc your doing and that no doubt is your answer. Well unless the answer is my metabolism has shut down and I'm destined to be a 500 pound runner who eats nothing but lettuce and multivitamins, it's got to be the running and lifting. I'm not going to let it bother me because I can't. I have to not play with points or anything else. I've gone back to doing things the way I've always done them and if it means I gain a few, but I know I'm healthy and can still get my workouts in and my clothes all fit, I guess I can live with a few pounds. >Best to ya !
