Hi everyone! I hope everyone is having a good day. It's 76 and

sunny here, beautiful day. The last time I checked in was last

Thursday or Friday and I was having trouble with symptoms from a

decrease in my prednisone...or so I thought. I have tremors, chills,

sweats, etc. I have experienced the tremors and fatigue before when

I tried to go down on my dose of prednisone but never felt so

horrible as I did then. Turns out that I had pnemonia, again, the

4th time in about seven months! I really was only coughing

occasionally and didn't think much of it, I really didn't feel like I

had that much going on but I guess I did. By the second day on

Zithromax I felt a lot better.

I have a rheumy appt. this week to see how things are going and I'm

due for some blood work. I've been more achy and painful than usual

but to be expected trying to get off the prednisone I guess. I

actually did some work in the garden pulling a few weeds (mostly

spraying them though) this morning and then took 2 of my kids to May

Day at school. Now I'm beat and I'm trying to rest up for a birthday

party at 6. Luckily it's at a playground where there are lots of

benches, and I have an appointment with one of them!

Is anyone else being treated with ADD drugs for their brain fog? My

doctor has me on Stratera now for 2 months but I'm almost out and

darned if I can tell too much difference. Yesterday I had horrible

neck and upper back pain w/ floaters in my eyes and I just couldn't

think at all most of the day until I got to the chiropractor and got

my neck and back fixed up. When I went on the Stratera the doc said

that it would make those painful days less foggy for me, but I didn't

see a difference. Anyone take anything else for it? He's talked

about trying Concerta or Ritalin...they're stimulants though and I

have to find out what they will do with all my other meds.
