I live out in Irwin. Have you been in touch with the Lupus Foundation of PA yet? The offices are over by Station Square and they have available a lot of materials as well as people you can talk with. We have a web site you might want to check out at http://www.lupuspa.org/ They are also sponsoring an educational seminar which will be held out in Greensburg on May 8.... Basic information is below: Taking Charge of Lupus Education Seminar Saturday, May 8, 2004 Four Points Sheraton - Greensburg, PA (the website has a typo - it says Cranberry but Greensburg is the correct location) The keynote speaker is award-winning journalist and author Maureen Pratt who herself is diagnosed with lupus. Other speakers are rheumatologist and co-director of the Lupus Center of Excellence Manzi M.D., MPH, orthopedic surgeon Haus M.D. and movement educator Alicja Walczak. There is a charge ($15 for members, $20 for non-members - which includes a morning snack as well as lunch) for the program, and registration is required.
