Guest guest
Hi I was interested to read that you still get aches and pains after 2 years. I've found the same (18 months after) but it seems to relate more to doing too little and to irregular excercise. Laid low by viruses I've not been able to face the gym for about 2 months. I was horrified to find my limp returning (at a fast walk) and also my knee wanting to fall inwards as it did during early recovery. A bit of a warning to me to keep up riding that excercise bike! Also I discovered that my operated thigh is still a whole inch thinner than my other leg. Sadly I didn't measure pre-op but I didn't really have any quads. That's despite doing quite a bit of hiking in the mountains this summer / autumn. New years resolution to get my legs evened up. Kathy > > > Jim, > > > Thanks for your concerns.
