Guest guest
I've heard of a few people in the group working but I was not able to. I was very sick and had many complications. hospital stays, infections. My Onc said 70% of her patients do not have to go off on leave from work but she follows that by saying they take the three days after chemo off and work half days and stuff like that. Then again, if you were a laborer you probably wouldn't be able to work where if you were a clerical worker you may be able to work. I cannot imagine having to have had to try to go into a job everyday. I was still having bad issues up to 4 months after chemo. I couldn't have worked. I was a fulltime Writer at the time of chemo and my mind was not clear enough to follow my subjects. Generally, technical and business writing so I was completely thrown off when I couldn't continmue submitting my work. Seriously, I'm 7 months out from chemo and my brain still isn't functioning well. I lost my job because my work went totally downhill. That's the main reason I left this group when I did. I just couldn't think straight enough to be of comfort or help to the people so I just shut up. :-( Hugs, Dari
