Starting over on Core

Hi,

My name is Jackie and I've been reading the posts here for a while now

but have never posted till now. I'm a lifetime member of WW and

rejoined in May, but have been having a hard time losing, (which keeps

me from wanting to write). I would count points really well and lose

1.5 pounds or a half a pound, then the next week gain a pound back,

and basically have stayed the same, although I have been exercising

regularly.

Last week our leader introduced the new program and said we were all

to more or less act as if it was the first week, which was fine with

me. I decided to try out the core plan, and after a couple of days I

got really nervous because it was so easy. I can't tell you how

relieved I was not to have to count and track everything! That made it

well worth giving up bread etc. I figured if it was so simple I would

probably gain again, and I've been really discouraged.

Anyway, I weighed in on Thursday and was down 3.2 pounds. I couldn't

believe it. So I decided to post here to kind of tell myself that I

can keep this up and lose two weeks in a row. <I hope>!

Jackie,

Welcome to the group and congrads on your weight loss of 3.2 pounds. I

went to my weight watchers meeting this morning and only two people tried the

core program. One wasn't very excited about it but she did lose 1.6 pounds. As

the meeting went on she found out she was using her flex points when she didn't

have too and making some other mistakes. It's good to have these meetings to

get to talk and learn from each other. I am thinking that I might try the Core

plan also and see if I like it. Have another great week.

Hugs,

Marge
