Jen:

I just got out of that phase, the one you mentioned

" .I have been struggling with what is important to me and for some reason

food has

won out each time. "

I wish I truly understood what it was that 'switched' me back into focus,

so I could pass it on to anyone who is having a tough time, but I can't

identify it. All I can do is tell you that it will come. Ironically,

attitude follows behavior. So, even though you don't want to follow all

those behaviors that WW maintains will make you successful in weight loss,

do them anyway. For many people, just doing the behavior can change the

mindset. I know the moment when I decided I didn't like the direction I was

going was one of those 'mirror' moments, when I looked in the mirror and

thought, " who's that? " And realized it was me. Something chemically

happened in my brain that has kept me on program now for 3 weeks (well, 3

weeks this coming Sunday) and I'm down 6 pounds of the 10 I gained back. I

even made it through Halloween without a hitch, wasn't tempted at all. That

USED to be a tough holiday for me. The other holidays aren't bad because I

am usually so busy I don't have time to think about food. So, hang in

there, and welcome back with your new email. That's kind of like a fresh

start, having a new email, right?

Ugg Yahoo

Hi all. Jen here. I use to have the yahoo address of jens_sowilo,

but somehow, someway Yahoo deactivated my yahoo account last week.

This happen to me about a year ago. It is so annoying!!!

I have to admit I have not been doing well at all. I have been

struggling with what is important to me and for some reason food has

won out each time. I am so frustrated, but I am sure all of you

understand what I am talking about. I will beat this hold food has

over me! I am a strong woman! I will succeed!!!!

I also have to admit that I tried Atkins for a couple of days -

YUCK!!!! Is all I have to say. I felt horrible!! My husband is

doing it now and in the past he was very successful with Atkins, but

like many others who do Atkins he gains the weight back when he

stops eating the Atkins way. But it is his life to keep doing that;

I can only influence him so much. Luckly because of his schedule he

only eats dinner at home on the weekends, so his heavy meat eating

ways should not effect me in the long wrong, however the weekends

will prove to be hard (as usual).

Any am anxious to get back into the conversations!! Talk to you all

later.
