25 mo old delayed, need advice

My 25 mo old just qualified for early intervention. She has a slight

language delay, but is talking and has been increasing typically,

just a little slow starting off. She also doesn't always make eye

contact, but we think that's probably more from having a big sis

with autism. She does pretend play, looks at me to share interest in

something, loves to play " it's mine, no, it's mine " game, will

whisper when when I whisper, points, follows gazes. She will not

sing, will repeat words, but on her terms. If I say, " say cat "

she'll say, " no " but then if I'm talking and say, " look, the cat! "

she'll say, " cat! " .

What biological interventions should I consider for her, if

anything? She is not vaccinated at all and is still nursing a couple

times a day. She has been taking off-and-on the Nordic Naturals

strawberry essence and has become a little more limited in her diet,

but still eats fairly well. I'm considering limiting her dairy and

using enzymes for everything else; she doesn't eat much wheat, but

loves candy, ugh! I'm also trying to get the entire fam on Feingold,

so this will have her eating as healthy as possible. Her bowel

movements are at times a little squishy, but she's also cutting

those two yr molars.

My father was very delayed in talking but did not have autism at

all. My brother also had a speech delay, and he definitely has

something going on with him, I'm guessing Aspie and/or bi-polar.

Dinah has one NT sister and one ASD sister. None of her 7 paternal

cousins have autism. There are no known maternal cousins.

I would appreciate any advice. I'm trying to give as complete a

history on her as possible. I really, really don't think she's

autistic, but I do think she has a slight delay communicatively. At

the same time I don't want to be in denial of anything. Thank The

Lord I did not vaccinate!

You could do a hair test, just to know if metals could be an issue

for her. You could also watch for yeast and allergies.

This sounds like my #1. He started talking at age 2-1/2. I chelated

him, and I give a few supplements, but that is all. He may have

qualified as Asperger if I had wanted to have him dx, but I have never

wanted to do that. He would not qualify as Asperger now.
