Guest guest
Mike - Will you please post a release for psoas. My daughters and I fight with tight psoas constantly. I've gotten a little relief from trigger point therapy and the myofascial release my chiro has done. However, my kids are just getting worse. I've done a little trigger point therapy on them, but this morning my 8yo's psoas was so tight and painful she didn't even want me to touch it. I did gentle work on her psoas and the piraformis/glutes. I checked her fascia with the finger glide test - the only place it was tight was directly over the psoas - I did my best to do some myofascial release - not exactly sure how to do it. Then I had her do some yoga poses to gently stretch the psoas. After all that she said it was less painful. FYI the left side was more painful that the right, her right leg is a tad bit shorter than her left. She tends to put most of her weight while standing on her left leg.
