RE: Wish me luck Answering my own post. Count me in with the Depakote crowd! Hopefully this will help. I feel like I'm going nuts. ellen

Guest guest
Okay guys, I need you all to send good thoughts around 7:30 PM EST. Tonight I am having my first interview for getting a service dog. I am really excited about the thought of a service dog. When I had my one golden he helped me so much I didn't even realize it. Anyway, the one thing I feel good about is they often use rescue dogs to train and I can pick my breed. So maybe even though I gave my goldens up to a good home I can get another golden but one that I can handle and he can help me. I realize now that I am on my own more my balance is very bad. I don't know if any of you had the experience off falling in the grocery store and not being able to get up. MY old dog used to let me put my weight on his shoulders getting out of the shower. Now I am afraid to take a shower when I am alone in the house. For an update on my non fused/osteomyelitis Duke told me I would have to weight 6-8 weeks to see someone. I don't get it. When I have cellulitis they rush to treat me so it doesn't go into the bone and now that it has no one cares. I do notice that no one wants to see someone with just Medicare. Hopefully starting May 1st I will be on my husbands new insurance. I have an appointment in Boston at Faulkner Hospital which houses the foot and ankle clinic for Bringham and Woman's Hospital. It seems that Bringham and Woman's has a good reputation but I am not sure because I have never lived in that area before. Anyway, just wanted to share my excitement over getting things started with a service dog. I don't want to be afraid to go out anymore. Did you also know they train them for people with depression and anxiety (Which is also me)? Sue K
