Regular massage is fine, but deep tissue really sets me off. I had a deep tissue massage on Monday and have been " fragile " , and in and out of AF all week. Has anyone else experienced this? His reply was " any massage except deep tissue " . He explained that it could bring on AFib and also could possibly cause bruising and bleeding because of the Coumadin. I've had several massages for some low back and also neck pain and it never triggered afib...yet. Did the doctor say why that would cause afib?
