I wouldn't even try to introduce new foods at first, that comes later. Start

with the things he does eat. Call the company phone numbers on the baby food

he likes and ask them to do an ingredient check for you. If you have a health

food store in your area you can probably find replacements for the crackers,

cookies, milk and maybe cheerios. Ask an employee for help finding these

products. Miss Roben's is a good mail order source for product. Replace one

thing at a time with the new GFCF version. If there is something he eats

that you just cant find a replacement for, stop giving it to him all together.

My son had a very limited diet to. And the school tried to blame it on

sensory problems also. But I don't think that was the problem at all. After

starting the diet he slowly started trying new foods all on his own. However

the diet has helped a lot in the sensory area.

Gluten and Casein has a drug like effect on the brain. So once hooked on the

drug their bodies crave the gluten and must have a steady supply. That is why

they choose their diet to be full of gluten & casein filled foods. When taken

off of the drug they start to try new foods. It may be because they are still

searching for some source of gluten, I don't know. Or it could be that

because consuming gluten is not an issue any longer they start eating food

for taste rather than a fix.

Anyway, at first don't stress yourself out looking for new foods that you

know he will not eat. Instead start with those food he does like and go from

there. This worked well for my picky eater.
