Guest guest
Hi Andy, Are you saying that a person does not loose 6 molecules of zinc for every molecule of mercury that comes out?Bill Walsh said this at the 2001 DAN conference..... I have it in my notes. If this is true then why the heck are we loading these kids up with so much zinc?My kids copper wasn't that high! This is correct. 2. Even if they did, or lost 60, it wouldn't matter at all. People with a scientific background who have not experienced the professional equivalent of brain death use their calculators to answer questions like this rather than shooting from the hip, thusly: Total amount of mercury injected, 237.5 mcg. Actually a lot was excreted, but there are other expoosure sources too so let's just say this is the total amount in the poor kiddie. Number of moles: 1.184 micromoles. At a 6:1 ratio, the number of moles of zinc would be 7.104 micromoles. This corresponds to 464.5 micrograms of zinc. This is less zinc than is normally absorbed and excreted every day by a child, and also less than a tenth of a percent of the total body inventory of zinc. Thus if this were the case, which it isn't, it really would make no difference at all. >Bill Walsh said this at the 2001 DAN > conference..... I have it in my notes. We load them up with absurd amounts of zinc because of two reasons: First, mercury induced mineral transport derangement severely reduces zinc absorption and retention. The kids are zinc deficient, usually frankly so with below normal range red blood cell zinc, if they are mercury toxic and don't get a ton of supplementary zinc. Also, while Dr. Walsh likes to talk a lot about MT and few others bother because it is such old news, everyone in the field has been aware of it for decades and in fact all detox protocols do greatly increase MT production, and the one in Amalgam Illness: Diagnosis and Treatment actually was specifically designed to do this. > R
Guest guest
Andy, When you talk about mega zinc dosing how much should our kids be having. My son is 55lb and is getting about 80mg per day. Is this enough and should it be spread throughout the day evenly?
