I went September 29th for my consultation in Lubbock TX with Dr D.

Syn. I am anxious to get all the tests that need to be done, done

because I want this to be done. I have been heavy all of my life

and it's about damn time (please excuse the language) that I can

have something done about it. I know that I'm responsible for the

weight loss after surgery, but this will help me in the long run. I

knew a guy that wanted to have this surgery done, but the physician

that he went to said that they couldn't help him because he was too

heavy. He passed away last week due to a heart attack.

My mother doesn't want me to have surgery, but I know in my mind and

heart that it will help me live to see my kids grow up. My mother

is overweight and has diabetes, high blood pressure and all the

other stuff to make you sick. I'm lucky that I don't have that yet,

that is why I want to take care of myself before I let it get that

far.
