Guest guest
-No don't go by urinalysis! His behavior may be yeast or bacteria flaring up as it did in my son. Lead takes a long time to get out and the only way to look at it is through the hair and how the child is doing. Patti , " nicolimom " <brannikk@m...> wrote: > > My son is 6 , pdd. Guest guest
It might be time for a break. My son went through a few hyper spells (well, he was always hyper back then so actually it was hyperer and then some) during the process. For him, we found it was best to take a few months off every once in awhile to let his system catch up and to remineralize really well. Then, we'd see greater output when he'd start chelating again. Another thing we found was that his body alternated where it dumped the metals so that towards the end of his chelation treatment, we ran both urine and stool tests to get a better idea of what he was releasing. Here is more info from someone I know who wrote about his child's lead chelation experience http://www.danasview.net/cheltest.htm > If you are not seeing metals passing on the urinalysis is it time to > stop? I would say you would stop once you do not notice any difference from continued chelation. I would continue with what you are doing for maybe 5 more rounds. If you are not using ALA, maybe it is time to add it. Dana

NO! How can this be? It is hard to get clear results with urine tests. It might be that you tested at " the wrong point " and lead was excreted at some other point. Or it could be that there was not a lot of lead excreted in this particular round of chelation. Lead takes a very long time to get cleared out of the body though, so keep at it. You should keep chelating for lead, at least once a month, for a year or two. > > If you are not seeing metals passing on the urinalysis is it time to > > stop? For lead I would really suggest that you continue, at least once in a while, for a year or two years, maybe longer. Lead is stored in the bones, and as you get the lead out of the other tissues, the bones will start to release the lead stored there, and then you can get THAT lead out also. good wishes, Moria
