For example: in radiology, the appearance on an X-ray of a surgical metal clip > that obscures the clear view of an anatomical structure. I asked Dave, the Nuke Med Tech exactly what the artifact that they were looking at was. He retrieved a copy of my first scan and showed me. He said, to be frank, I think that we are looking at your boobs. He then asked if I ever had breast implants. I told him that I was old but I didn't think that qualified my boobs as artifacts. I am a young 43, and as far as I know they are in the spot where they belong. Thanks , with your help both Dave and I got a laugh from something that could have been scarier.
