Guest guest
Well hopefully we are almost Alumni of Dr. P. It has been forever since we posted. We sing the praises of DR. P whenver we can. Zevi is now 3 yrs and 4 months. He has tolerated the brace pretty well but has nightmares almost every night. About 1 1/2 months ago he started banging on the brace in the middle of the night and demanded we take it off. We figured since we were already past that magic 3 yr old mark we were safe. We would be unable to get to Iowa until summer time. Until this time we might have missed a total of 4 nights his whole life not having the brace on. So we took it off and kept it off. Now a month and half later we think we might be noticing some regression. So the bar was put back on. We are hoping is was just paranoia and not regression. We will be back to Dr. P's end of June. Does anybody have experience with regression after shoes have come off after age 3?
Guest guest
Hi, I noticed no one has responded to this and I wanted to let you know it's not because there aren't parents here who can help you. They just must be busy. I can't help personally, we're not even close to that age but there's been some parents of older children here recently who have indeed dealt with this. There has also been a lot of discussion about this so check the archives from the last month or so to see the posts. I just didn't want you to think there's no support here for you - maybe someone already emailed you privately too. A few parents have hauled themselves back to Iowa for correcting a relapse, and are hoping to be able to deal with it with casts and DBB. Otherwise it seems it's the ATTT surgery. Also, there may be some pics floating around of relapsed older child's feet in the photos section but I'm not sure. Might be worth checking through them to see what others are seeing as a relapse. And you parents of older children out there, email this parent! lol... Kori At 04:59 PM 5/13/2004, you wrote: >Well hopefully we are almost Alumni of Dr. P. It has been forever >since we posted.
