Guest guest
Dana, It also seems to me that my son detoxes through the skin. He regressed at 15 months immediatley following his mmr, which makes me think he definately needs the high dose vit a protocol. I plan on doing it soon. Does it matter if he is chelating or not at the time? I thought about doing it on 2 of his off days. My main question about the vit A protocol that I have not found an answer to yet is how to administer between 200,000 and 400,00 iu's of clo. I have the gel caps from kirkmans of clo and each cap has 1250iu's of clo. Are you supposed to administer it slowly over the whole day? exactly how much should you give at one time? I think I need to get clo with a higher dosage in each pill. I s there a certain kind I should look for? should I be worries about mercury in certain forms of clo? sorry so many questions, thanks - kelly

Guest guest
Vitamin A protocol is patterned after the treatment of Measles in third world countries. 400,000 iu of Vitamin A given on each of two consecutive days. Many people use Klaire's Micel-A since it is 5,000 iu per drop and easy to administer. There was a long discussion a while back about it. I can't remember exactly what conclusions were drawn regarding whether the dose was to be broken up or given all at once. But, the most important part of the protocol is to watch for signs of Vitamin A toxicity. The goal is NOT to cause toxicity, but if it occurs, stop the protocol immediately. Vitamin A takes a long time to clear the body. Do not use the protocol more than once in a six month period. Good Luck.
