Now £56 later we came out and Phoebe (3 years old) had somehow become

the proud owner of a tweenie toy, a Poppins video, a new pair of

shorts/skirt, a bottle of fresh oj and a winnie the pooh toothbrush.

Eloisa (16 months) had a Dipsy toothbrush (picked it out herself), a

smootie drink and a red helicopter... AND I forgot the kitchenroll..

Now can anyone tell me how this happens??? <<

This used to happen to me all the time, but not anymore!

How? Because we used to live a 2 minute drive away from Sainsbury so

every little forgotten thing and I was in there, sometimes every day.

And always ended up buying far more than I went in for and often

forgetting the vital thing I did actually want. Then we moved and now

live a 15 minute drive away. This makes all the difference. I go

there Fridays and not at any other time. Milk and bread I get from

the local small Co-op lateshop which sell the bare minimum of things.

Anything else and we simply go without. Sometimes by Thursday we are

scratching around the cupboards and there is no fruit left but the

good thing is we use up all the stuff that's been hanging around and

also I don't spend the amount of money I used to.
