Guest guest
Dear -Anne, I would love to give your "Lizzie " a home! She sounds wonderful, just what I've been praying for! I live in Arlington, Texas though......That's in North Central Texas between Dallas and Ft. Worth. Texas is a big state ......where in South Texas do you live? .....It may be that it would be too much of a trip for either one of us. I get tired from riding in a car for long distances. Maybe if we could meet somewhere in between........and I would have to work out arrangements with my appartment manager concerning a Pet Deposit. I have asked them before .....and was told I could pay a little at a time till I got it payed .The pet deposit is $300.00 .....It might take me all summer to get the money all payed....at $50.00 a month added to my rent..... It's a lot to think about .......and just may not be do-able......But thank you so much for offering. You are a Sweetheart. If you want , you can Email me at my private Email address. lonewolflinda@... .....This just seems too good to be true, so I won't get my hopes up too much ...........like I said ....it just may not be do-able . You are a thoughtful and generous lady......and your letter brought tears to my eyes to think that you would be willing to give up your "Lizzie " to make a lonely old lady happy. C. Re: TO LINDA, I may have a dog for you ,In what part of Texas are you? I live in South Texas.I had tears in my eyes when I read about how much you'd like a little dog. And then I had to do some serious thinking. I've decided.I have a little dog I would be willing to give you since I know she would be loved and cherished. Her name is Lizzie and she's my sweet girl but I suspect she would love to be an "only dog."I got her from our animal shelter when she was only 3 weeks old. LOL, I had stopped by there to donate some supplies and the director was telling me about a litter of puppies someone had left on their doorstep. They were sickly and two had already died. Lizzie and her brother were left and she already had a cough. I adopted her so she'd have a chance. She was SOOOOOO tiny and sickly -- in intensive care once when she went into respiratory arrest. But I nursed her back to health and for the past year and a half, she's been healthy and happy. She's a sweet little girl -- very calm. She's housetrained but loves to play outside a lot. She looks exactly like a yellow Lab, but she's small -- less than 20 pounds, about the size of a larger chihuahua. She's up-to-date on all of her shots and she's spayed. She's about 2 1/2 years old.I wasn't looking to give her away or sell her. But your story touched me and if you'd like to have her, I would be willing to give her to you. She's calm and sweet and sometimes has to hide from my other big dogs because they constantly want to play with her! I think she'd like to be an only dog with a quieter life. Please let me know. I'm off from school all summer (after Monday) and since you're in Texas, we could probably work out something regarding transportation. -Anne> Hi Carol,> I live in Texas, ........but that is so sweet of you to offer to keep an eye out for a little dog for me."The LUPIES Store" Come check out our store...http://www.cafepress.com/thelupies"The LUPIES Web Page"http://www.itzarion.com/lupusgroup.html"The LUPIES online photo albums!" Guest guest
, I think it might be do-able. I have some friends in collie rescue and they work with other folks in Dallas, etc. I can see if we can cobble together a caravan of sorts to bring Lizzie to you. You're right -- I can't drive long distances these days and I wouldn't want you to attempt it, either. (I live in Brownsville, which is as far from you as you can get in Texas!) I'll email you. -Anne > > Hi Carol, > > I live in Texas, ........but that is so sweet of you to offer to > keep an eye out for a little dog for me. > > > > > > " The LUPIES Store " Come check out our store... > http://www.cafepress.com/thelupies > > " The LUPIES Web Page " > http://www.itzarion.com/lupusgroup.html > > " The LUPIES online photo albums!
