Yes, it is a product of using a harmful and inappropriate chelation protocol. The correct way to use alpha lipoic acid is to give it every 3 hours or more often (pushing it to 4 during the sleeping period is OK). > Should I have tried DMSA first? You would have had problems if you did that every 8 hours too. DMSA has to be every 4 hours or more often. > Should I give some other Supplement with it?. Zinc, magnesium, vitamins C and E, milk thistle extract. > Should I continue? On a proper protocol, yes. But you should see side effects DURING roiunds and improvements a few days after. Some children/people do not do well with the every-8-hour protocol, so you can try giving it every 3-4 hours and see if that works better. I did every 8 hours, my kids were okay with it. He suffers from tremors and had a seizure on 7/04. My worry is > that on Sat. he was trembling more than usual, I thought he was going > to have a seizure. Today he is still shaking more than usual. Try increasing your yeast protocol, because he might have a yeast overgrowth issue. http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm >>Should I have tried DMSA first? You can if you want. I never did tho. > Should I give some other Supplement with it?. Milk thistle for liver support. Vitamin C to help clear metals from the blood once they are removed from the tissues. There are other supplements which can be helpful. >>Should I continue? I would first wait to get him stabilized. Be sure his yeast is low. > He has been taking enzymes for the past 2 months. On monday I gave > him Candex but I stopped the same day. Candex, if given on an empty stomach, can help with yeast. > Also, when he had the seizure in July, he had eaten tons of hot-dogs. > I took the off his diet and cut out all sugars including breads etc. > Not in any specific diet really. Can this be harmful? Not as nasty as nitrates, but still might be a problem for him. >> He has also started eating > more sugar lately, cookies, cakes, etc. Definitely increase your yeast protocol. > Should I test his hair? Guest guest
You might also check his taurine levels. Mercury toxicity can lead to low taurine levels. Our son tested low and after we started supplementing, we stopped seeing any kind of mild seizure.(More like eye-blinks etc.) Barb [ ] Re: chelation help please > > > >> >> Hi: >> >> My request for help did not post.
