Guest guest
Welcome to the board! We're glad to have you! As for AFO's and shoes, search the archives if you have time, but the general feelings here is that AFO's are worthless because they do not have the bar nor hold the foot at the correct position to maintain correction. 's shoes are pretty good. A couple have had issues with them, but many of us have had great success with them, too. I'm ordering my 2nd pair today. They are pricey up-front, but was well worth it for my son- and the replacement pair is a lot cheaper, although still about twice the price of the Markel shoes....but again, worth it for those babies who have serious issues with Markel shoes such as my child did. However, compared to the AFO's I bought my 1st cf son, even the price of shoes is cheap. Those AFO's ran about $700 a pair. Can we say OUCH? s. Hello, I'm new to this message board I have a daughter, , who is almost 5 months with bilateral club foot. The DBB did not work for her and the 's is news to me. I have never heard of them. now has the AFO's. Does anyone have those? What is your experience with them so far?
