Guest guest
Hi everyone, Sis just called me. Dr. Clair Francomano has contacted her and said she is going to find a doctor in either Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, or HEALTHSOUTH Medical Center (I THINK this was it) in Dallas, as she feels she needs to be in the hospital and so do I. At least until the potassium issue is figured out and on a level she can deal with. Dr. Francomano is supposed to get back with her soon. I told her to call me as soon as she hears from Dr. Francomano. I told her she was lucky that Dr. Francomano is helping, as I know she is a VERY busy person, but she told Sis that she could tell she was giving up. Dr. Francomano looked at all 's past records that she had and said she could tell that has been dealing with this issue for quite some time. I told Sis that when she is assigned a doctor, to request that he or she take over coordinating her care with whatever specialists she needs to be seeing, as right now, is unable to do it herself. She told me that in the past, she was the one that did all the calling and research of doctors, as no one else took on that task, including doctors! I continually amazes me and DISGUSTS me, the lengths we, as patients, have to go through on our own, to find a doctor who is willing to coordinate our care! Is there no answer to this?!?!? It seems like every other day, someone from the list is having the same type of problem! Anyway, I'm relieved, at least for now. I also contacted Sue last night, and she's doing fine, just very busy, fighting a cold, and hasn't had much time to get on the list. That's fine also, but being the worrying mother hen that I am, I can't relax until my family is doing as well as they can do! I am now concentrating on our poor Jo, who is struggling now as well. Healing thoughts, positive vibrations, prayer, asking the Universe, as Barb suggested, over and over! For ALL of us with so many issues! God, how I wish I could make it better, or at least manageable for everyone! But I cannot, I know that, so we just take it day by day. Thanks for your prayers for , Jo, Jill, etc. and for letting me unburden my worrisome, jumbled mind! I love you all. Lana
Guest guest
Lana, I am so glad that you've heard from her and that things seem to be rolling toward some sort of positive direction I hope in terms of getting this sorted. Indeed, Dr. Francomano is going the distance for her and that is such great news! I am so pleased and relieved as well! PHEW! Still though, this is far from over, so I will continue to keep her in my prayers. Jill
