Guest guest
The medical establishment owns the legislators. They have effectively eliminated malpractice cases in California by having the legislature impose a $250,000 limit for pain and suffering. With your lawyer getting almost half that leaves about 150,000 for you and 100,000 for him. Which is almost nothing these days. It also means lawyers wont take such cases because of the little return on their time and expenses if they are lucky enough to survive the enormous legal battle the medical establishment will put up,including buying off your lawyer. If the most the lawyer can get is $100,000 whats to stop the opposition from simply offering him a $100,000 bribe which is much cheaper than fighting the case in court. There is a legal joke that if a case is filed for less than $100,000 it means that no one is injured. Guest guest
It's not the lawyers. Lawyers didn't fight for the malpractice limits. Big business fought for them. An individual lawyer needs a tremendous amount of money to even put a case forward. Don't get caught up in the spin. You are fighting the same enemy that you're fighting over the vaccines.
