Guest guest
Hi I was just able to get off my predisone back in Nov this is my first time in 17 yrs of getting off of it completely. I didn't have that problem with my hands at all but i was hurting at first when i got off of it then i got use to it. I am doing fine right now with out it. I would bring it up to him when you see him again that is my advice unless one else in the group comes up with something different then me. As for feeling tired all the time have you had your hemoglobin (SP) checked lately? you might be low on iron or something for you feeling tired but hell i don't know i am not a dr. So like i said say something to him when you see him again. I am sorry i am not much help here. P.S. what font do you use? I like it alot Dear Members, Since the last appointment with my rheumy, he is trying to wean me off the Prednisone. Of course I've been so excited about that because I can tell the difference in my weight now. I'm not as bloated as I was before and I'm not monstrously hungry either. But since he's decreased the Preddy, my ankles and feet have been hurting so badly. Also I'm getting these spottings on the palms of my hands and fingertips and they're making my hands look so ugly now. At first I was complaining about my weight and now I'm complaining about my nasty looking hands! Geez. I've had this before ... at first my hands would swell and I would get these red spots. Then the red spots started looking like bruises. I don't know what this means. Also the fatigue is coming back and I don't feel like doing anything besides resting or playing on my laptop laying down. * Sigh * When I see my rheumy again this month, should I talk to him about increasing my Preddy again or should I just tough it out? I'm not sure of what I should do ... starting to feel like crap again. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for listening to me. -.
