I think that is fine.

It is what I would do.

It is not like you are breaking a confidentiality.

Dr Francomano, I am sure, will be happy to hear such a thing.

She certainly will not break any confidentiality's with you but knowing her

depressed state is VERY important for a physician - NOT JUST FP. Mental state

is a whole bunch toward healing (Ask Mike!) and if that component is

compromised ... well, need I say more.

I understand about her telling you her wishes. That is normal friend to

friend but put in the context of her mail to me it sounded more. Your call you

know her and that is super important.
