Picture List

Hey There Everyone! Happy Spring and Congratulations to all our new or

future new parents!!

Lots of new members here - so I figured I'd send a plug for the picture

list. Because the photo's and files sections here on both the Clubfoot and

Nosurgery lists are so full... I created a list so those of us who like to

share pictures and those who have things they would like others to look at

about our clubfeet babies (or clubfoot selves) can go to share pictures. I

had pictures of my daughters sores that I wanted people to look at but

there was no room on the main lists photos section so the photo list was

created. We welcome any kind of picture that has anything to do with

clubfoot - even faces of sweet babes and families! I enjoy sharing

pictures of my children, and I know many others do too, feet and faces are

welcome there! This list is not intended to be a place to store photos of

our babies/children/feet because soon it too will be filled up like the

main lists are. But rather a place where attachments are allowed so we can

simply send a post with an attachment or photo embedded and get

feedback. This is not to say that you are not allowed to post your photos

to the photo section, but please remember that what you post there will

stay so it consider that if possible, the more educational the better.

The list allows attachments. Which isn't always a good idea for a public

list. However no one has sent anything nasty to the list yet and we're all

sworn to be good in that respect. There is a simple questionnaire that you

will fill out to get approval for membership. You are subscribing at your

own risk, we suggest that everyone have up to date virus scanning software

installed and you swear your solid oath not to knowingly send anything

nasty to the rest of us. Those who request subscription but do not fill

out the questionnaire (asking about your CF status and your commitment to

not send virus's/worms - really quite simple) will NOT be approved for

membership. Sorry, but I simply do not know who is who and I get a lot of

subscription requests and very few questionnaires returned. I think maybe

many people search yahoogroups for places they can see pictures of whatever

other weird things they want to... so I default to not allowing those

kinds of people into this group. It should be a safe place where we can

feel free to share pictures of our children without worrying about

wackos. Our babe's feet are not for sick wacko entertainment and I would

hazard a guess that most all parents will agree with this policy.

When you request subscription at .txt file will be sent to you. Fill out

the questionnaire and send it back to me. I will approve you and then

you're ready to share pics with us! I for one love seeing baby pics - so

don't be shy. Send a post with an attached or embedded pic of your little

one! If you have something you want other parents to look at and comment

about send away! That's what this list is for.
