Guest guest
My 8yo got stung by a wasp three times on Sunday afternoon. I applied crushed asprin topically for about 1 hour. That took the sting out and on Sunday there was no noticable swelling. Yesterday she had some swelling and it hurt to clap her hands. Chiro did TBM on her - which is suppose to help the body clear itself of toxins (sometimes it works and sometimes it appears not to). Today her hand is still swollen and I just had a 'well, duh' moment LYPHATIC DRAINAGE. What do you think Mike?

What do you think Mike? ---------- (1) Yes, lymphatic drainage could help reduce the swelling BUT (2) And this is a very MAJOR BUT, my big concern is whether she is getting a delayed allergic reaction to the sting. Is she having any other symptoms? Difficulty breathing? Pain? Swelling or numbness going up the arm? You can try LDT on her hand, but if that swelling doesn't go down or she has any other symptomatic reactions, she needs to be checked to see if she is getting a reaction to the sting. (3) More people run into serious difficulty every year in the United States from allergic reactions to bee and wasp stings and spider bites than from venomous snakes.
