Guest guest
HEllo Everyone, I just wanted to give everyone a mini update on me and my current symptoms, and wanted everyone to respond with any helpful hints or experiences. As I had previously written to Kim and explained that the numbness is increasing, somedays it will be both legs or all limbs, and then some days may only be a small patch on my arm that is totally numb. I started experiencing tremors in my hands when I try and do anything with them. Like pick up a cup. This is really aggrevating, and hard for me to deal with. I went to a general doctor last monday because I was in so much pain. My lower back just hurt and walking was so painful. He ordered tons of blood tests, gave me a cortisone shot, pain pills and muscle relaxers. Of course now I am having side effects from one of the meds that is really troublesome, and he is suppose to get back with me on that problem. My problem is now that my RCB, Hemocrit and hemoglobin were all extremely elevated. The doctor said that he would contact me on monday to discuss these results, but Friday they called me in for a B12 shot and gave me a script for a drug that is suppose to make my blood flow better thru my veins. Has anyone had these types of results? I am really scared now because I am feeling so poorly now, and sometimes think I just can't make it to work or I feel like I could just sleep forever. My energy level is diminished to the point that any activity just completely makes me feel sick all over. I know that I can't continue to put on my " happy " face and act like I feel normal and well. Sorry this got quite lengthy, and thanks for taking the time to listen to my whining, but I feel like I am fighting a war all alone. If any of you out there have any advice or know anything of the symptoms I am describing then please share your experiences with me. Hugs to you all, Allissa
