The prednisone will help with the joint pain. My father had his increased a few weeks ago and my mom is not able to keep up with him. It has lessened his joint pain and he is on the go! Prednisone is for a variety of things. And even though it may have sucky side effects, it also does alot of good.

As for crying alot, I think 99% of us have been there. It's alot to take in and it makes a lot of changes in our lives. Are you on any kind of anti depressant? They are a good thing too. Hang in there and know we are here for you.

Thanks ,

I guess maybe if I get bad enough it may not be a bad idea but right

now I feel I can handle it. It's good to know it helps with the

joint pain also because that is my main problem right now.

And yes It lupus is definitely been a lot for me to take in I

probably spend too much time wondering what might happen rather than

staying with the moment and living day by day. I guess I will just

have to work on that. Thanks for your comforting words! Carol
