Guest guest
, I didn't really clarify my statement about stitching when I first made it... I was mainly referring to the trauma involved - not that they are bad in any way. If you have to get them, well then you have too. The glue is so easy and non-invasive. Depending on the laceration - how big it is, if its located in an area that bends frequently etc. determines if you can use it. Its basically for small wounds. Its essentially super glue. The regular stitches have to be removed- they don't dissolve. As far as tetanus, I havent done much research on alternative treatments, mainly because 1) He was immunized until 18 months 2) tetanus is an issue if the wound is dirty - as the bacteria lives in soil, and he just ran into the wall. If he were to get a dirty wound today, (and no boosters given now) I would wash the wound immediately and get it as clean as you can. They give antibiotics to folks who have it. > Dear , I would like to be prepared in case my ASD DS gets injured. What are the alternative treatments for Tetanus?
