Guest guest
Argh! Yahoogroups decided this message of mine was spam too. I'm a moderator for goodness sake. Why would I spam the list? Honestly, Yahoo is getting annoying right now. ---------------------------- > There is some kind of trick to figuring out the email addresses on > the board (and I haven't succeeded yet myself). People who read the messages on the website or who are on the digest version of the list do not have access to the individual email addresses of people on the list. The list is set up to hide the email addresses of the sender. However, people who have chosen to receive each individual post separately will receive messages with the sender's address showing. That is why some can access addresses easily and others can't. The reason for this setting is simple. This helps prevent a spammer from harvesting the email addresses of the members of this group. In order for someone to access the addresses, they would have to actually receive each individual message. This is not the way a spammer wants to harvest addresses, so they are unlikely to do this. -Barb
