Guest guest Posted February 10, 2003 Report Share Posted February 10, 2003 Hi I'm Barbara from NJ I had my surgery 7/23/02 satrting weight 293lbs Current weight 194 lbs down 99lbs. It wasn't an easy journey but things are getting better.I had a rough first four months...I went back in the hospital one month after surgery was unable to hold food down..had a stricture.Had endoscopy to correct. 2 weeks later all over again....was having a hard time with food getting better at it now...Certain things just don't agree with me..I feel great and am starting to look great....Fitting into a size Large / size 14 feels good to be that size. My doctor said I need to eat more and I will start losing more..He predicts that by June I will be down to a size 8 ...I WAS NEVER A SIZE 8....I would be happy in a size 10.. anyone wanting to chat email me @ DavenBarbara@...
