Great to hear. I want everyone to know that the 20 years was spend in the " defense " of physicians. That means I worked 10% to make sure that physicians took a proactive part in developing better physician/staff/patient relations. OK that said... Physicians are all basically cut from the same mold and have very consistent limitations. Therefore I spent 150% working with staff (yea that is 160%) teaching them skills for the same toward their patiens. This however, included a great majority of teaching them how to " handle " their physicians. No lie... I taught staff how to manipulate their bosses! So as you can see I have been exposed to lots of personalities. Funny thing is that doctors have one basic personality and staff have another and they typically clash with each other. Then throw in an in pain, depressed, confused, sick and perturbed with the system patient and you have a recipe for disaster. Sounds like a tough job! LOL! In the process I developed a war chest of short cuts to help each side of the equation. The one's who really benefited were the patients (I hope). So my goal now would be to toss out the same manipulation skills that I taught staff to you guys (the patient). However, just like Mikes energy information you have to be sort of open to try some of the tricks... Like the calling after-hours. Once you try these things you will never go back to the jellyfish patient again. Now, now.... I myself am a jellyfish sometimes too I can say that!
