Guest guest
Janet - My daughter also started signs of puberty at age eight (she's nine now) - I was told this is one of the red flags for mercury poisoning. Will calcium glucarate reverse the things like pubic hair and breast buds (which scare the heck out of me to see them on on my autistic, baby-faced little girl)? Does calcium glucarate double as a calcium supplement? Thanks, > > , > > Your friend's daughter has excessive estrogen. The body removes excess estrogen (plus many > toxins and other hormones) via the Phase II GLUCURONIDATION pathway. > However, gut bugs secrete an enzyme (beta-glucuronidase) which interferes with > Phase II Glucuronidation. Guest guest
Animal products are loaded with hormones (and antibiotics, etc). She should move toward a vegan (no animal products) diet. Guest guest
Also keep her as physically active as possible, her body fat has to hit a certain level before she can begin her menses. Guest guest
This also happened to my daughter at age 8 - I think it's something way beyond the hormones in meat. I think it has to do with a damaged pituitary gland (from mercury, of course) - read Dr. Porte's material on the autismone website. We've removed all hormone-laden meats from my daughter's diet - i don't think going vegan is an option just because of the difficulty of getting enough high quality protein, but, anyhow, that didn't help a bit. We had her tested for human growth hormone a few weeks ago and test came back very abnormal (very low just as Dr. Porte had found) so now we're trying to decide if we want to (and can afford to) go forward with daily hgh injections. > > Animal products are loaded with hormones (and antibiotics, etc).
