Dear ,

Sorry to hear about you difficulty situation a work. I must applaud you though for being able to push through it! I don't think I could do that, I wish I could but I can be such a hot head sometimes, not to mention my trouble with Lupus and fibromyalgia.

Anyway, just wanted you to know that I will keep you in my prayers and I hope that there are some resolutions to the situation soon!

Also, thanks for the chuckle! I just had to laugh when you referred to Ahhnold as the "governator"! I haven't heard that before, very clever!

Take care,

Hi

,

Living

here in California I sure know what you mean. I don’t work a full time job but I work taking care of an

elderly lady and get paid through the department of aging. She needs the help and I need the money

but they are looking at cutting back our wages to minimum wage. It sure can be frustrating but at least

they aren’t going to take away the whole program which I was glad for. Having lupus I have worried whether I

could work some other jobs. This

one is really low stress for me and I can change my hours as needed if I get to

feeling to badly. I hope things

get a little easier for you! Have

a great day! Carol

today.

Hi all,

Hope everyone had a grand weekend. I finally got a chance to get

started on a new stained glass window. This one has about 90 pieces,

so I will be busy for a while. I just work on it a little at a time

so I don't get too tired.

Work is starting to get to me...not healthwise, just the work. I

work for the City of San Diego, and as I'm sure you all know the

State economy is in the crapper, and the governator is taking away

all the city generated income to fund the state. We had layoffs a

year ago, and we're getting ready to have them again in July. My job

is fairly safe, but I'm having to do more work to make up for those

that are gone. Right now I'm doing my job and a former co-worker's

job, and they are wanting me to add on another person's job....and I

think I've had enough of feeling like I'm being taken advantage of.

So far I haven't complained or even really said much. I've just been

a good " team player " , but now I realize that I'm the only one on

the " team " . I don't want to do anything rash like quit

because my

benefits are fantastic. I probably would have already left if I

didn't have Lupus, but since I do, I feel like I really can't afford

to give up the great benefits. Yet another way Lupus is forcing me

to adapt.

I know I'll just keep plugging along doing what I have to do, but it

sure doesn't feel nice right now. I'm trying to not get angry and

stressed about it so I don't flare, but they sure do make it

difficult to remain serene.

Hope everyone has a peaceful and productive week.
