My parents did not know that I had HEDS but they modified my room... lowered

the bed, my dad nailed to the floor steps up to the sink so that I would not

trip off the step, I cant really think of other stuff and they are not home to

ask...

The main modificatins would be to make the chance of injury less.

Maybe things like: a rail on the bed to prevent falls, a step so that

they can easily use the toilet and basin etc without stretching etc,

maybe special cutlery to help with the hands,, having carpet on most

surfaces would help protect for falls and be softer on the feet,

removing internal (and external) stairs or putting in a ramp or

lift,a chair for the shower and something for the bath to help her in

and out etc (baths can help with pain issues).

These are the main ones I can think of off hand.
