means but it sounds pretty bad.

RSV is a respiratory virus. In older kids it's just like a common cold. In

little ones, especially infants, it's much more serious. Like Jacquie V

said about , and with my , they were in the hospital getting

breathing treatments and breathing mist in oxygen tents.

Big hugs to you. I'm so sorry to hear about Yessenia being so sick. It

does sound like RSV and I know that one is quite nasty. I will be saying

lots of prayers that she starts feeling a LOT better soon and that Mommy can

get some much needed rest.

babies or children. Never really worried about their not breathing until now.

Thanks. She does seem to be feeling a little better. Everytime I give her her

albuterol she falls asleep. I am thinking that is because she finally can

breathe laying down and so she rests.

Thanks. She does seem to be feeling a little better. Everytime I give her her

albuterol she falls asleep. I am thinking that is because she finally can

She is better than she was but is still not good. The things that worried me the

most is that when the dr listened to her lungs she said the lower lungs sounds a

bit " tacky " and that she had some chest retractions while breathing. ugh.

also was only 6 months old when he had it and the peds wing was full

of kids with it! The baby in our room got it from his 3 yr old sister who

Why has Yessenia not ben admitted to hospital if they suspect RSV?

When had it, they admitted him and THEN did the testing!

Why why WHY have they sent you home? needed mist masks and the like

for the whole time we were in there.

You must be going crazy with stress and worry. :-(
